What these results actually mean, tied to real games and records aboveVoices
Real interviews and breakdowns, written or on video“Voices” links to real published interviews, film breakdowns and radio/video segments about South Florida high school football — not anything recorded or written by 305 Gridiron. Right now it’s one strong entry; more get added the same researched, sourced way as everything else on this page, not on a fixed schedule.

Real, sourced headlines on South Florida high school football — recruiting buzz, ranking movement, and results. Every headline links to the original reporting.

The Map
Every program we track across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Pick a school for its record, coach, history and where its players ended up — or switch to pipeline mode to see which schools feed the Hurricanes and the Dolphins.
School pins sit at their real campus coordinates, geocoded from the addresses in the federal school directory. The coastline and county shapes behind them are simplified — this is a schematic, not a survey map. One pin (Cardinal Newman) is positioned approximately because we couldn’t verify its coordinates; it’s marked on the map.

Where the talent goes
Each ribbon is one South Florida high school feeding one destination, sized by how many players it sent. This is counted from published rosters, not estimated.
Recruiting radar
Radar
Ranked South Florida prospects, who they picked, and when. Every rating below is a third-party service’s published number with the date we read it — none of it is 305 Gridiron’s evaluation of any player.
Commitment timeline
Only prospects with a date we could confirmProspects
Heights and weights are what the recruiting services list, not verified measurements — services disagree with each other on the same player, which is a good sign these are estimates rather than measured numbers. We could not verify a single laser-timed 40, shuttle or vertical for anyone on this board, so no testing numbers are published here. If a number ever appears on this page it will name the event and the timing method, because hand times typically run about two tenths faster than laser times for the same run.
Recruiting notes
South Florida only — class of 2026, via LarryBlustein.comTwenty Miami-Dade and Broward names worth knowing beyond the headline board above. These are the facts each report gives — school, position, size — not 305 Gridiron’s read on how any of them fits a college roster; that kind of “local fit” call belongs to the recruiting services and coaches actually evaluating them, not to us.
Where South Florida goes
Colleges
Every college a tracked South Florida recruit has committed to or signed with, with real program info and every prospect we have on record headed there. Sorted by how many local recruits each program has landed.
Conference and location are checked against each school’s current athletics site. Program colors below are widely-cited public values we have not checked against an official brand guide, so treat them as close, not exact.

Compare
Two prospects or two programs, stacked against each other on the real numbers we track — composite ratings, records, and roster shape. No simulated plays or predicted outcomes, just what’s actually on the board.
Composite ratings and state/national ranks are a recruiting service’s published numbers, not 305 Gridiron’s evaluation of either player. Heights and weights are service-listed, not measured.

Recruiting board
Rankings
Where South Florida sits in the statewide picture: the top-ranked recruits coming out of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, and where local programs land in the state poll.
Both boards below are real, sourced third-party rankings — recruit ratings and ranks come from the Rivals Industry composite, and the team poll is High School Football America’s Florida Top 25. Recruiting services often disagree on star counts for the same player, so this shows each prospect’s composite rating and statewide rank rather than a star number. Nothing here is 305 Gridiron’s own evaluation of anyone.
305 Power Rankings
Computed, not votedThis is the one ranking on the site that is ours, and it ranks teams — never individual students. It’s arithmetic, not opinion: no one votes, and the full working is shown for every team so you can check it.
How the number is calculated
Each team gets a score out of 100 from three parts. Where we haven’t logged a team’s individual games, the two parts that need game data score neutral rather than being dropped — dropping them would hand an unproven team a free pass on who it played and by how much, which is how a 3–0 against nobody ends up ahead of a 3–0 that beat somebody good. Every row says when a component was scored neutral.
- Win rate — 50%. Wins divided by games played.
- Strength of schedule — 30%. The average win rate of the opponents a team has actually faced, counting only opponents we also track. Beating good teams is worth more than beating bad ones.
- Scoring margin — 20%. Average points for minus points against per game, capped at ±28 so one blowout can’t carry a season.
Early-season caveat, stated plainly: most teams have played two or three games. Two or three games is not enough to separate teams honestly, so treat September numbers as a rough sort, not a verdict. Teams with fewer than two games played are listed but marked provisional.
Tiers, in plain language
The same Power Rankings scores, bucketed and explainedFour groups instead of one long list — same computed scores as above, just grouped so the gaps between teams are easier to read at a glance. Buckets are re-cut every time the numbers change, not fixed in advance.

Stat leaders
A snapshot of individual statistical leaders from real South Florida programs, sourced from MaxPreps and refreshed on the same weekly schedule as Scores.
Unlike Rankings and Scouting, these are real students’ real public stats — the same numbers MaxPreps already publishes. There’s no commentary or grading attached here, just the count. It’s an early-season snapshot (small sample sizes this early), taken from South Florida programs only — not a statewide leaderboard.

Game-day guide: weather, field & getting there
South Florida high school football runs hot and humid into late September — afternoon thunderstorms are common early season and are the usual reason a kickoff gets delayed, while November and December playoff games are the coolest and driest of the year. This is general regional seasonal pattern, not a live forecast for any specific game — check a real weather app for that.
Getting there: use Waze or Google Maps for live traffic rather than anything static here, and plan to arrive well before kickoff — stadium lots at rivalry games fill up early. Ticket and streaming links on each game above go straight to GoFan and NFHS Network, the schools’ own services.
Friday night reports
Scores sent in by coaches, parents and fans — posted straight away so Friday results show up fast, and clearly marked as unverified until we can confirm them against a published source.
Anyone signed in can send a score. Because these post immediately, an unverified report is one person’s account of a game and nothing more — it hasn’t been checked, and it may be wrong. Confirmed reports carry a green check and the source they were matched against. Recaps written with AI assistance say so on the card; they’re generated only from the score and notes the submitter typed in, and they can’t add details nobody supplied. Submitters can delete their own report. If something here is wrong about your program, email the address in the Privacy Policy and it comes down.
Tips from the community
Photos, scoop, corrections — anything that doesn’t fit the score form above. Same rules as everything else here: signed in, posted immediately, and about the game — not about any student’s life off the field.
Going, or watching from home. Miami-Dade schools sell digital tickets through GoFan, and games are streamed and kept on demand by NFHS Network — so Tickets, Watch and Replay all open those sites in a new tab, on the program’s own page where we’ve confirmed it and the general page otherwise. Two things worth knowing before you click: NFHS Network usually requires a paid subscription, and not every game is ticketed or streamed at all. 305 Gridiron doesn’t sell tickets, stream anything, earn a cent from either, or have any affiliation with GoFan or NFHS Network — prices, availability and what actually gets broadcast are entirely theirs.

What If
A couple of real, documented South Florida high school football moments — what actually happened, sourced, followed by one clearly-labeled “what if” that’s just us wondering out loud, not a claim about what would have happened.
This is high-school-only for now. Anything built around the Miami Hurricanes’ championship teams or the Dolphins’ Super Bowl era needs the same kind of real, sourced research we did for these two — that hasn’t been done yet, so we’re not guessing at it.

Highlights
Every clip the players themselves have put on their card — Hudl film, YouTube tape, whatever they want scouts and fans to see. Tap any one to watch it.
Clips open on the site the player posted them to — Hudl, YouTube and the rest — in a new tab. 305 Gridiron doesn’t host or re-upload anyone’s film, and only links a player added to their own card ever appears here.
Team film on NFHS Network
Full game broadcasts and replays for every program in the Teams tab, streamed by NFHS Network. Pick a program to see what they have.
These are whole games on NFHS Network, not short highlight clips — and watching usually needs a paid NFHS Network subscription. We link to each program’s page there; we don’t host, re-upload or clip anyone’s broadcast, and 305 Gridiron isn’t affiliated with NFHS Network. Where a program doesn’t have a page we’ve confirmed, the link opens NFHS Network to search — some programs simply aren’t streamed.

Scouting notes
Notes coaches, scouts and fans leave on player cards — but only on cards whose owner has opened them for notes.
Players control this completely. A note can only be left on a card whose owner turned notes on, and that player can delete any note on their own card at any time. Notes are attributed to the account that wrote them, accounts aren’t identity-verified, and there are no letter grades — these are observations, not evaluations of a minor by anyone official.
Made by the players
Player cards
Self-made cards from players across South Florida — their number, position, best stat, offers, highlights and links, all entered by the player.

What we collect
If you create an account: a username, an email address, and a password (which is hashed on your own device before it’s stored — see Security below), plus the role you pick (Fan, Player, or Scout — self-declared, not verified). If you favorite a team or player, we store that team/player ID against your account.
If you choose to create a Player Card, you decide what to add: name, jersey number, position, best stat, team, class year, offers received, an optional photo, social media handles or links, highlight video links, and a self-rated star rating. All of it is optional except name, jersey number, and best stat, and all of it is shown publicly to anyone who opens the site.
If you post a scouting note on a player card, we store the note text, your account handle, and the date. Notes can only be posted on cards whose owner turned notes on, and that player can delete any note on their card.
What we don’t collect
- No analytics, no ad tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No location tracking beyond whatever your browser already sends any website.
- No payment information — the site doesn’t sell anything.
- No data collection beyond what’s described above; we don’t buy, sell, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Team, roster, score, news, ranking, stat, and playoff data
Team names, records, rosters, game scores, news headlines, recruit rankings, state poll positions, stat leaders, and playoff results are not collected from you — they’re real, public information sourced from outlets like MaxPreps, the Rivals Industry composite, High School Football America, FHSAA, and the news sites linked on each item, refreshed on a weekly schedule. Those rankings are the third party’s evaluations, republished with attribution — not ours.
Rosters list the name, jersey number, position and graduation year each program already publishes for its players. If you’re a player, parent or guardian and want an entry removed from this site, email us below and we’ll take it down — you don’t have to explain why.
Security — please read this one
Your password is hashed in your browser before it’s ever stored, so we never see or store your plain password. That said, this site has no traditional backend, no encryption-at-rest guarantee, and no separate, access-controlled storage per account — account and card data lives in a shared database used by the app. Please don’t reuse a password here that you use anywhere important.
Cookies & local storage
We don’t use tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for what we do use.
Children & minors
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. High-school-age users creating Player Cards are typically minors under 18 who are choosing to represent themselves publicly (name, stats, photo, links) — if you’re a parent or guardian and want a minor’s card, report, or account removed, contact us below and we’ll take it down.
Your choices
You can sign out anytime, edit or delete your Player Card, and unfavorite teams/players from your account menu. To request full account deletion, or removal of any content about you or a minor you’re responsible for, email us below.

The short version
305 Gridiron doesn’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies of any kind. That’s why you won’t see a cookie-consent banner here — there’s nothing non-essential to consent to. If that ever changes, this page and a real consent option will be added before it does.
